Weclome to our Writing Spot. This is a place where we can express ourselves freely and publish our work independently. There might be mistakes as our teacher will not be editing this work but hopefully you will see improvements as the year progresses. Enjoy our writing and leave us lots of comments about our ideas.

Allana - What animal am I?

Clinging to the tree in a way that takes least energy.
Eyes wide open, piercing, slowly swivelling.
Head turning subtly, hardly perceptible.
Oh well, who cares?  I'll do it in my own time.

One foot inching forward, can't be too careful.  Make sure it's steady and safe.  What else is there to do with the day?

Time for a snooze.  Snoozie ... woozie ... always half asleep.

Yawn as I watch the world rush by.  Can't believe they move so fast!

Gently unfurling but nothing to do yet.

Allana's writing to music

We are all writers in the E-Team and when the teachers went on conference in the holidays I did some writing too.

We listened to music and had to keep writing all the time it was on. Here is my first draft about a piece of very fast band music you might hear at a parade.

Thump, thump, hoot, jumble, mixture confused.

Walking fast.  Keep up or you'll be lost.

Don't get left behind.  Hurry up.  They're getting away.

Puff, puff.  Hurry.

Quickly catch your breath.
